Color Splash Photography

The color splash effect is created using a combination of black and white with a splash of color to create an amazing effect.

Here is how to create a color splash photo using the Photobucket Edit tool:

• First of all you have to "upload" your image to Photobucket which is an image hosting and sharing website.
  
• Click on the "Edit" button above the photo you want to color splash.
• Select the "Greyscale" button to first convert your photo into black and white.
• To add a splash of colour go to "advanced options" button at the top of the page.
• Now select "painted region" from the drop down menu and highlight the part of the image you want to be in black and white.
• The part of the image you don't highlight will be in colour.

Atomic Memory :The Future of Data Storage

Have you ever imagined a CD with a storage space of 650 million MB instead of 650MB ?? If not then think again because scientists around the world have theoretically proved this fact now.Work is already under progress on this concept.

The concept of atomic memory or (atomic storage) is basically nano-technology approach to computer data storage that works with bits and atoms on individual level.The data storage methods being used today use millions of atoms to store a single bit.The new atomic storage technique will allow a bit of data to be stored in a single atom which obviously means a million times worth morre data per atom as compared to the older techniques.

IBM are working on a project code named "Millipede" which will enable the storage of a data worth 25million printed text book pages on a surface that is the size of a postage stamp.This means a storage capacity of Trillion bits per square inch which is 20 times higher than the densest magnetic storage available today.

How to add Animated Gif images on Blogger

This is a serious problem a lot of the bloggers have been facing on their blogspot websites.Well i am solving this problem for all of you once and for all.
First of all you need to know why gif images appear as static images on your blog when you upload them through the ususal method of the " upload image " tab in the Blogger posting area .Well the thing is,Blogger uses Picasa Web albums to store all the uploaded images and the problem with Google's Picasa is that it does not support Gif images so when you put those images on your blog only a static version of it appears there.

To solve this problem i personally recommend a tried and tested solution.What you need to do is whichever gif image you need to put on your blog ,first upload it to a image hosting service such as Photobucket.Its very simple , just create an account on Photobucket and upload your image,get the html code for the image and then use the HTML code to successfully veiw your animation on your post through the Edit Html tab.

Windows 7 : A Preview

INTRO
Windows 7 is the next in line operatin system due to be laucnched in 2010. A beta testing version was leaked over the internet in 2008 which has been undergoing constant testing and tweaks since then.

Compatibility And Requirements

Windows 7 is designed to run on the same software requirements as vista.It requires a minimum of 20GB hard disk space and 1GB ram.According to microsoft this new version of windows will be compatible with applications and device drivers that were being used for vista.This new version has built in suport for aplicatons and devices such as music players,external storage devices,mobile phones and other connected devices.

Performance
Microsoft clearly has learned a lesson from Vista and now they have tailor made windows 7 to have a considerably less startup and shutdown times.windows 7 is takes as much as 15 seconds less time to startup which is huge , infact it is even comparable to a fully updated version of windows Xp .

Appearance and New Features
Windows 7 provides a new and fully customizable user interface . The enhanced taskbar has interactive thumbnails, and enables animation and interaction for minimized applications.The quicklaunch toolbar has been replace with a dock like bar where the user can drag and drop the applications according to his own choice which is a very useful feature.


Apart from the new taskbar there are also new features such as hand writing recogniton and support for virtual hard drives.It also has a new version of Windows Media Center,windows powershell and a new and improved calculator.
Windows Security Center has been renamed to Windows Action Center that encompasses both the security and maintenance of the system.

Firefox or Google Chrome : Which one is Better ?

With the launch of firefox 3.5 which is the latest version of Firexfox google chrome has already been surpassed in popularity according to some recently collected data by Net Applications , a company that tracks usage on the internet.
There is no doubt about the fact that Google Chrome is much faster than firefox when it comes to web browsing but still there are a lot of reasons why users are sticking with Firefox.

1. Firefox is is more portable than google chrome i-e it can be run from a usb drive whereas google chrome does not have this feature yet.

2.Firefox is found to be using a lot less memory than google chrome,during peak usage firefox uses 73% less memory than chrome.

3. Google chrome's incognito mode(hidden browsing) lets the users secure and private browsing while keeping no record in the history about the pages visited while firefox does not support this feature.
